KHADIM-E-MOHABBAT

This website is dedicated to the life and teachings of Hz Khadim-e-Mohabbat, Raja Muhammad Akram sahib (ra) known in his lifetime simply as “Raja sahib”.

Raja sahib (1907-1988) was Muslim spiritual master of a rare kind. He preferred anonymity and lived his life under the cloak of ordinariness. Those that were fortunate enough to know him quickly realised how extraordinary everything about him in fact was. He had a great love for Hz Mawlana Rumi (ra) and his Masnavi and would personally buy copies of the Masnavi for others as an encouragement to read and benefit from this classic work.

Hz Raja sahib was through and through a man of Love and all of his teachings are an expression of this. However the love that he spoke about was a  “mystical” love that is born out of genuine spiritual knowledge and insight. It is entirely appropriate then that his only “title “ is Khadim-e-Mohabbat which means Servant of Love. The practical manifestation of this love was a life of loving service first and foremost to God and as a corollary of this to all creatures.
